Friends. What can we do without them? We need them. When you have gone so long without close friends on the false friendliness of fair-weather friends, like I have, you understand what I mean when I say that. You want someone, beside your mom, to vent to. You want someone who gets what “Andraste’s Knickers weasels” or “black sweat pants” or having a “crazy face” means. You want someone to get those inside jokes. You want someone who understands you.
Friends. They’re the person you give a look and they get it. They’re the ones that are either confused when you’re confused, or they help you through your confusion. The same could be said about pain, sorrow, grief, or anger. They’re the amazing people in your life that aren’t in your family, but you trust them like they are.
Friends, close friends. I only have a few, but I’m glad I have any.
